Objective: Create a public dashboard to connect Miami-Dade County water, soil, air quality, tree shade, mangrove restoration, and other climate-related data to make it more findable, accessible, FAIR, interoperable, and repeatable. 

Proposed Impact: 

• Simplify data accessibility and usability. 
• Unlock new insights for the public and private sectors to make informed decisions on organic and artificial infrastructure development. 
• Develop tools, games, and visual aids for education and action.

 
Progress: Laying architectural foundations for the dashboard

Objective: Develop a Sustainable Cities Toolkit for municipalities and enterprises to adopt best practices for sustainability and resilience.

Proposed Impact: Bring cohesiveness and clarity to the complexity of accomplishing net zero goals across a city.

Objective: The MiamiVerse is a Smart City 3D viewer and Augmented Reality Companion that allows you to experience Miami, FL in a new Mixed-reality vision. Making it easy to understand the critical sustainability and resilience information of Miami.

Proposed Impact: Cohesive understanding of what's happening in our community and what is being planned to happen and intended changes as well as for the community to create changes.

Objective: Coordinate, track, and verify the status of trees planted and have an interoperable database for trees.

Objective: Game-ify Climate Action in a fun immersive way

Proposed Impact: 

• Be able to plant 1 million trees faster. 
• Prove community service hours.
• Learn about climate careers. 
• Create a way for the community to actively participate and be rewarded for engaging in community projects towards the Sustainable Development and net-zero goals.

Objective: Use arts and culture to raise awareness and funds to solve local issues.

Proposed Impact: 

• Greater awareness, and activity for all ages, local or tourists. 
• Highlight and support local artists and non profits, as a crowdfunding mechanism. 
• Share impactful artwork - from Miami to the World.
